The Container has Arrived!

Our 40 foot container filled with much needed supplies for Starehe arrived a few days after Christmas 2009!

It took a lot of time and effort but was worth it to help "our children" at Starehe!!!


(The container made quite a journey: from Alberta it "road the rails" east to Ontario, was loaded onto a cargo ship, "sailed the ocean blue" for approx 6 weeks, arrived in Dar Es Salaam, and then was finally trucked for 2 days to Starehe. A cement pad was poured for the container to sit on and it is now used for on-site storage.)


MUCH needed clothes are now being given to the children!
